Nichole Perkins is an advocate for clean living and food awareness. A self-described food warrior, Nichole is fueled by her belief that a healthy, empowered, conscious lifestyle can be accessible to everyone.

Having struggled with various autoimmune conditions, including SIBO, psoriasis, rhinitis, and leaky gut, nearly all her life, Nichole started on a journey of self-healing through food seven years ago. She was frustrated—from being sick, from not having the white coats take her questions seriously, and from a lack of answers. So she changed the trajectory and took autonomy over her health.  

Through voracious research, real foods, and the counsel of functional and alternative medicine practitioners, Nichole began to heal. She asked questions and facilitated communications between her experts. She sought out healers who honored her journey. And she pushed back when something didn't feel right.

All of this exploration unlocked in Nichole a deep passion and understanding: Health is both a human right and a deeply individual journey. Transparency and fact-based information should never be hidden under layers of intimidation or politics. Clean living need not be an expensive, exclusive endeavor. Everyone is worthy of the tools and information to help them obtain optimal wellness. 

Through PrimaFoodie, Nichole wants to share what she's learned. She aims to show how she lives a clean lifestyle, while having a career and a family. Through celebrating the small wins and opening up conversations, she wants to inspire you to own your personal journey toward better health—and to thrive.
